Welcome to the Zone 8 Summer Games football page. It is our pleasure to put all of the upcoming information regarding football for the Summer Games in Peace River. The Games will be held from July 22-25 and we are proud of the players that will be taking part to represent our zone in the north. Please come back to this page for all of the updates.

Zone 8 Tryouts - May 8/9, 2010 * Tryouts at Legion Field in Grande Prairie
* Practices will be held at 10 and 2 on these days * The team will be posted the next day on the St. Joe’s Football team website May 10 * Try out fee is $75 * Games fee for those who make the team will be $300 and is due by June 10th 2010 | Northern Lights Football Camp - July 2-4, 2010* This is a three day camp held in GP at Legion field that gives athletes in our area an outstanding opportunity to develop their skills during the summer.
* This is not a mandatory event, but is encouraged to all local high school and bantam aged players. * Fee for this camp is $200 * Please find the form for the camp and additional information attached in the file below.

Training Camp #1 - July 9-11 (Peace River)* This is a mandatory camp for all members of the Zone 8
Football team * Practices will be held at Glenmary field in Peace River * 10:00 and 2:00 start times * More information will follow about accomodations and other details | Training Camp #2 - July 18-21 (Grande Prairie)* 2 practices per day, the team will leave for Peace River as a group on the 21st.
* This is a mandatory camp for all members of the Zone 8 Football team * Practices will be held at Legion field in GP * 10:00 and 2:00 start times for these practices * More information will follow about accomodations and other details |
